The Pink One
19" x 19" Acrylic painting, original, dark wood frame
In a city where there is a lot of beige and brown, I’ve always loved the bold contrast of the Bougainvillea’s magenta flowers. They bloom relentlessly, giving a permanent break to the cinder block backyard walls and concrete freeway walls.
I feel so happy to see their papery leaves dance in the wind and eventually collect in the corners of the yard. The paper thin leaves are such a neat contrast to the hardiness of the plant that seems to thrive without even a drop of water.
Gallery Notes:
Richau playfully captures the feel of that joy through punchy colors. Her work leans simple, keeping the focus on the moment of joy.
Feng Shui Placement Suggestion:
Hang this in the East area of your home or room, which represents growth and new beginnings.
Place in the Southwest area of your home, the “marriage corner.” The pink and earthy tones magnify the area’s earth and love energy.
All art sales are final and art must be picked up from the gallery within 7 days of purchase.
