While visiting my niece and family in Cave Creek AZ, we drove around to see the surrounding landscape and how it differs from my home state of WV. I loved the scenes of cacti against the gorgeous morning sunrises and evening sunsets. This painting is from a photo taken at dusk near my niece’s home.

I want to return to AZ to take more photos of cacti and of all the different flowers and wildlife. There are so many opportunities to explore!
