Once in its lifetime, a century plant sends up a towering bloom- one final, defiant burst of beauty just before it dies. It is nature’s ultimate mic drop, and frankly, I get it. A stunning display of strength, resilience, and the relentless drive to leave a mark before letting go.

This painting captures that singular moment: a vibrant yellow bloom stretching into a clear blue sky, bold and impermanent. It’s a reminder that beauty isn’t meant to last forever- but while it’s here, it demands to be seen. Hand poured acrylic on wood, layered and controlled (but barely), like the wildness of the desert itself.
