While in Flagstaff, visiting my great-niece at NAU, we went to Buffalo Park to take a walk. As soon as we started out, I was surprised to see a mountain peak covered by snow on one side of our path and a serene pond with winter brown grass surrounding it on the other side.

Even though I’m surrounded by beauty in my home state of WV, the diverse beauty of the AZ landscape amazed me!   It has opened up so many new, creative opportunities to explore.
