Sweet Escape Art Print by Jennie Richau

SWEET ESCAPE  is now available as an art print, matted and frame-ready, based on the original painting.

"Sweet Escape" brings a playful dose of desert surrealism to the wall. It imagines giant popsicles growing out of the desert landscape, a colorful little fantasy born from the relentless heat of an Arizona summer. Perfect for adults AND kids! Hang it anywhere you want a little color and whimsey.

The Story Behind the Piece, as told by the artist:

As the summer heat becomes oppressive, I look forward to the moment I open my freezer. The freezer light glows, the vapor swirls around, and for a second it feels as though I’ve entered another world.

I want to climb in.

Instead, I reach for a popsicle.
